Kerygma
Terms of Service

The agreement between us.

Effective date: 27 August 2026

Who we are, and what this covers

Kerygma is an iOS app published by Genesis One. These terms govern your use of the app and of kerygma.one. By downloading or using Kerygma you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app — no hard feelings.

What Kerygma is

Kerygma is a Bible trivia game. Questions are generated by AI, and every answer is presented with the Bible verse it rests on and a short commentary, so you can check it yourself. Three play modes, twenty-four categories, three languages. No ads.

AI-generated content

Because questions are generated on the fly, they can occasionally be imperfect — a clumsy phrasing, a debatable emphasis, or in rare cases an error. That is why every answer carries its verse reference: Scripture is the authority, not the quiz. Kerygma is a game and a study aid, not a doctrinal source, a substitute for your Bible, or pastoral counsel.

Subscriptions and billing

Fair use

Don't abuse the service: no attempting to disrupt or overload our servers, reverse-engineer the app, scrape or resell its content at scale, or use it for anything unlawful. Multiplayer rooms are shared spaces — the display name you choose must not be offensive or impersonate someone else.

What's ours, what's yours

The app, its design, its name, and its generated content are ours or our licensors'. Bible text belongs to its respective publishers and translators and is used under their terms. Your device keeps your scores and settings — we don't claim them, and we mostly never see them (see our Privacy Policy).

Availability, warranties, liability

Kerygma is provided "as is". We work to keep it fast and correct, but we don't promise uninterrupted service, and question generation depends on third-party AI providers we don't control. To the maximum extent the law allows, Genesis One is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that your local law says can't be limited.

Ending things

You can stop using Kerygma any time; deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. We may suspend access that violates these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, liability limits) survive.

Changes

If we change these terms materially, we'll update the effective date above and post a notice in the app. Continuing to use Kerygma after a change means you accept it.
