Why Hebrews matters
Hebrews is the most rhetorically polished book in the NT — written in elegant Greek with an extended argument that Christ fulfils and surpasses every Old Testament institution. Chapter 11 (the hall of faith) is one of the great chapters of Scripture. The five warning passages scattered through the book are some of the most sober calls to perseverance anywhere in the canon.
